The Nursing Home Resident Safety Improvement Scheme provides funding to improve infection prevention and fire safety in private and voluntary nursing homes. This funding enables private and voluntary nursing homes to be compliant with HIQA regulations. The Resident Safety Improvement Scheme has ceased with effect from 15th November, 2024.
