Dublin South Central Mental Health Services are the HSE providers of specialist mental health services to people living in south west Dublin. We provide a comprehensive range of community-based mental health services and we serve a catchment population of 400,000. We aim to treat and support people in their own homes as much as possible.
Our Community Mental Health Teams support or treat people with mental health difficulties in their own home and community. This means that the main provider of care for people with a mental illness is within their community, not in a specific facility such as a hospital.
