To ask the Minister for Health the current system in place by his Department to provide healthcare for residents of IPAS centres and other refugee accommodation; if his Department is providing additional resources to support GP capacity in areas with higher than average numbers of IPAS centres; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

To ask the Minister for Health the translation supports, if any, that are available to GP practices that do not qualify for assistance from HSE primary care or HSE social inclusion but provide service to a large cohort of Ukrainian patients.

To ask the Minister for Health the number of people (details supplied) who were actively using the health service, by county between 1 February and 1 April 2024; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

I understand that the HSE has put in place a service delivery model for Refugees and Applicants Seeking International Protection and that as part of a first health response on arrival in the National Transit Centre in Citywest, Beneficiaries of Temporary Protection (BoTP) are supported to complete a Health Status Questionnaire (HSQ) to identify immediate or acute health needs and chronic health issues. I also understand that those presenting with immediate health needs are reviewed by a member of the on-site multi-disciplinary healthcare team and receive medical intervention as required.
In light of the above I am seeking information on the following: 1. the number of HSQ’s completed in 2022, 2023 and to date in 2024. 2. the number of persons that required medical intervention following a review by the on-site multi-disciplinary healthcare team during the same time period of 2022, 2023 and to date in 2024.
