General Practice Medical Workforce Planning 2015:
This report on medical workforce planning for General Practice in Ireland was compiled by the HSE NDTP and represents the outcome of a collaborative exercise in determining the future GP requirements for the country based on population ageing and Government policy in the main. Consideration is also given to the feminisation of the workforce, part-time working, retirements and other exits from the workforce as well as doctor emigration, trainee requirements and GP consultation rates.
