Professional Qualifications, Experience etc. • An academic award in Quality Management at level 7 (or higher) on the Quality
and Qualifications Ireland (QQI) National Framework of Qualifications (NFQ) or
equivalent or have commenced on an academic course to achieve such award.

• 2 years relevant experience of working in a Quality Assurance role at managerial
level within a Health Service.
Or
• A professional qualification in a health-related area 1. Health A candidate for and any person holding the office must be fully competent and capable of
undertaking the duties attached to the office and be in a state of health such as would
indicate a reasonable prospect of ability to render regular and efficient service.
