"To work as part of a team, with the support and direction of the Portering Services Manager/Ward or Departmental Manager to ensure a first class quality service delivery to patients in a clean, safe and risk free environment.
A panel may be formed upon completion of this campaign for posts in Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital / The Cottage Hospital and Louth County Hospital to fill future temporary & permanent, full time & part time positions.
The Salary scale for the post is as at: 01/10/2024
34,195- 36,039- 37,147- 37,905- 38,562- 39,412- 39,931- 40,815- 41,723
New appointees to any grade start at the minimum point of the scale. Incremental credit will be applied for recognised relevant service in Ireland and abroad (Department of Health Circular 2/2011). Incremental credit is normally granted on appointment, in respect of previous experience in the Civil Service, Local Authorities, Health Service and other Public Service Bodies and Statutory Agencies.
