The HSE's Performance Profile (PP) provides an overall analysis of key performance data across care groups, such as Acute Services, Mental Health, Social Care, Primary Care, Older Persons, Health and Wellbeing as well as Finance and Human Resources. The activity data reported is based on Performance Activity and Key Performance Indicators outlined in the current National Service Plan. The report is collated by Operational Performance and Integration.
The PP is part of the documentation for the performance oversight process in the HSE. The PP also provides an update to the Department of Health on the delivery of the NSP. The latest reports are available are on this page.
Key Performance Indicator Metadata
KPI Metadata templates are completed for all National Service Plan metrics and provide the most up to date information relating to KPIs. These include information such as definition, rationale, reporting frequency, and data source. They underpin data quality, accessibility, records management for data collectors and inform users of data.
