The HSE is pleased to advise that it has been successful in recruiting a GP for Ardara, Co. Donegal.
Dr Charles Mc Manus will take up the position on Friday August 23 2024. The HSE wishes him well in his new role. This is really good news for the area at a time when GP recruitment can be extremely difficult across the country.
The surgery in Ardara will be closed on Friday August 23 to allow for the transfer from Dr Sweeney to Dr Mc Manus. In the case of an acute medical emergency patients should contact 074 954 4147 for medical advice or NoWDOC after 6pm.
The HSE would also like to assure patients in Lettermacaward that there will be no changes to the current service arrangements in place for them.
Finally the HSE would like to wish Dr Mireille Sweeney a long and happy retirement.
