Planning Permission Approved for new Cleary Centre for adults with Intellectual Disabilities in Donegal Town

The HSE are delighted to confirm that planning permission has been approved for a new day services centre for adults from 18 years upwards with Intellectual Disabilities in South Donegal.

Flu and COVID-19 vaccination clinics in South East open to eligible members of the public and Children’s Flu Vaccine Clinics continue over next week.

Flu and COVID-19 vaccination clinics taking place across the South East for healthcare workers are now also available on a walk-in/no appointment necessary basis to members of the general public in ‘at risk’ groups.

Riverside Designated Centre is managed by the Health Service Executive Disability Services and provides residential support to four residents. The centre is a detached bungalow which is located in Co. Donegal within a small campus setting and is within walking distance to the local town.

Dunshenny Community Group Home is a designated centre managed by the Health Service Executive’s Disability Services. The centre is located close to a town with a range of amenities and services in Co. Donegal. Dunshenny Community Group Home provides full-time residential care and support to three residents with disabilities.

North West Hospice launch new Walk and Talk Bereavement Group

North West Hospice has launched a new initiative facilitated by the Social Work Team, who provide bereavement support to those who have experienced the death of a loved one under the Hospice and Palliative Care services.

As part of its encouragement to parents to ensure their children are up to date with the Flu vaccine, the HSE is this week running free nasal spray vaccine clinics at locations in the South East for children aged two to 17 years old.
