Ovarian Cancer Referral Guideline and Referral form
The NCCP GP Ovarian Referral Guideline aims to facilitate the earlier detection of ovarian cancer in Ireland. It highlights symptoms that may be suggestive of ovarian cancer. It provides GPs with a step-wise algorithm for assessing worrisome symptoms i.e. initial CA125 testing in Primary Care and referral to radiology or gynaecology services, as indicated. This referral guideline was developed in collaboration with the Irish College of General Practitioners and a wide range of clinical specialty groups, led by the NCCP Gynae-Oncology Group.
