In 2014, an Intrathecal Chemotherapy Project Board was established to develop recommendations on intrathecal chemotherapy and neurotoxic drugs, in response to Recommendation 71 of the NCCP Oncology Medication Safety Review.
The Intrathecal Chemotherapy Project Board produced four guidance documents, which were endorsed by the Oncology Medication Review Implementation Steering Group in November 2015.
