The NCCP has published two National Clinical Guidelines:
- Active surveillance for patients with prostate cancer (2025)
- The Use of Focal Therapy in Patients with Prostate Cancer (2025)

The purpose of these National Clinical Guidelines is to provide evidence-based recommendations.
The National Clinical Guidelines were developed through the integration of the best research evidence with clinical expertise, patient values and experiences.
The guidelines were developed a multi-disciplinary guideline development group chaired by:
- Mr David Galvin, Mater Misericordiae University Hospital and St. Vincent’s University Hospital
- Dr Eve O’Toole, Head of Evidence & Quality in the NCCP
