Soilse was established in 1993 and is the HSE’s DNCC Addiction Rehabilitation Recovery Orientated Education Programme. The Soilse team is comprised of HSE and CDETB Staff consisting of Addiction Education Officers, Project Workers, Health Care Workers, Consultant Psychiatrist, Key-Workers, Teachers, Facilitators, College Support Worker, Career Guidance Officer and Admin.
We provide a recovery orientated system of care that incorporates the Soilse continuum of care process. At Soilse we run part time/pre-entry and full time day programmes. The pre-entry phase runs for approximately eight weeks and the full time phase of the programme runs for 20 weeks in duration. Attendance for the full time programme is Monday to Friday 09:30 am to 4:30 pm.
We offer a holistic rehabilitation service for people at various stages of recovery from their substance misuse problems Our specialised continuum of care process provides a wrap-around service allowing us to support participants who are at different stages of their recovery from the early phase involving preparation for detox and in-patient therapeutic treatment and then towards the latter stage comprising of our drug and alcohol free full time day programmes. Our detox preparation programme is based in Henrietta Place. Our drug-free programme is located in the adjacent facility in McAleenan House
