The Disability Services Regulation Resource is a refresh of the “QI Toolbox for Disability Services”, which was originally developed by the Social Care Division (SCD) and the Quality Improvement Division (QID) in 2015, with updates in 2016. It was further updated in 2018 by the Quality Improvement Team, Disability Operations. The current version of the resource, which has been renamed, was developed by the National Disability Quality Improvement Team (Access and Integration, Disability Services - Transformation and Programme Coordination). The resource is aimed at service providers, management teams, Persons in Charge and Persons Participating in Management, to complement their efforts in working towards compliance with current HIQA Standards for Disability Services and associated Regulations and providing high quality support to the people being supported in designated centres across Ireland.
