Submission guidelines
We are now accepting abstracts for oral and poster presentations for the LUH 12th Annual Multidisciplinary Research Symposium.
- Abstracts can be submitted for both oral and poster presentations
- Oral presentations will be approximately 6 minutes each (maximum 8 slides), with 2 minutes thereafter for questions
- All abstracts submitted for oral presentations will undergo a scoring system by independent adjudicators. The top abstracts in the categories will be selected for presentation. The remaining abstracts will then be invited to submit an e-poster to display their research
- Abstracts submitted for poster presentations will undergo an initial screening process. Thereafter, those selected for posters presentations will submit e-posters for display. If you wish to be considered for the best poster award, please indicate this on the submission form. These posters would then need to be submitted early for marking and the top 3 posters in each category will be requested to present their posters on the day with 3 minutes to describe the research and 1 minute for questions
- Word limit for Abstract - 250 words (excluding references) - Please note that failure to adhere to word count will result in your abstract being returned
- Please follow the below format:
- Aims and objectives
- Methods
- Results (Do not include tables and charts in the abstract submission)
- Conclusion
- References (maximum 3 references allowed)

Important Dates
- Closing date for all Abstracts submission: 31 March 2025
- Poster submission final format for marking: 11 April 2025
- Notification of acceptance: 23 April 2025
- Final Oral Presentations submitted by: 16 May 2025
