Educational Programmes

Educational programmes are provided throughout the year and dissemination of the information takes place through a prospectus, which is produced twice per year- January to June and August to December. The calendar is furnished to all members of the Board of Management by e-mail who subsequently distributes it to their staff in the clinical services.

All QQI programmes are awaiting revalidation 

Quality and Qualifications Ireland (QQI) academic accredited programmes:

Registering for continuing professional development: (non-accredited)

When deciding to undertake a programme (see Educational Calendar  and complete the following steps:

1. Seek permission from your Line Manager at Assistant Director of Nursing level
2. To book onto a programme, please log in to HSELanD and Enrol on to your chosen programme as stated on the Academic Calendar. 

How to find our catalogue of courses and enrol/check availability see the below steps:

1. Login to HSELanD;
2. Click course catalogues;
3. Click ONMSD;
4. Click RCNME Dublin North;
5. Click the first catalogue RCNME Dublin North Programmes;
6. A list of our courses will appear, click on the course you wish to enrol on;
7. Once you have click the course, a new window will open, please read all of the information on  this screen thoroughly;
8. Scroll down to see available dates, locations and available seats (if there are no available dates to enrol on when you scroll down, the course is now fully booked and no dates are available);
9. Click enrol when you have selected a suitable date and location;
10. Complete the Enrolment Approval Request and click submit;
11. Your enrolment is only confirmed once you receive an enrolment approval email from HSELanD, please check your junk folder as it may be there.
12. In the event you are subsequently unable to attend, please cancel by withdrawing from the programme though your HSELanD account or contacting our Administration Office:
