Regional Centre for Nursing & Midwifery Education
Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
Our visiting times are 2-4pm and 6-8pm. Visiting outside of these hours must be negotiated/discussed with the nurse in charge. Due to the nature of ICU visitors may be asked to wait whilst essential care is delivered to patients, this may be during visiting times. A Visitors Room is situated at the entrance to ICU, this is a shared room for all patient visitors.
Phone Number - 01 6466380 / 6466381
All patients will require basic toiletries whilst in ICU, it is the responsibility of the family to provide these items.
No flowers or potted plants are allowed in ICU.
Mobile phones MUST be switched OFF when visiting ICU, as they may interfere with medical equipment.
