The dental department of Mayo PCCC provides dental services to pre-school children and secondary school children up to but not including sixteen years of age. Dental services are also offered to vulnerable children and Special Care Children and Adults. The service includes the provision of local satellite orthodontic clinics, a specialist oral surgery service and an outreach oral health promotion service. The department also manages an emergency dental service for adult medical card holders where resources allow.
