The HSE Dental Service provides targeted screening, assessment (including orthodontic assessment) and treatment for children at key developmental stages through our schools programme. At present, the service in Community Healthcare East is providing a screening service to 6th class children only.
Children who are identified as high risk because of exceptional medical or dental needs may be seen more frequently, within available resources.
If your child has had Dental X-rays taken recently with another service, it would be helpful to bring a copy of the x-rays to your HSE Dental appointment.
