The Strategic Programmes Office hosted the ‘Future of Integrated Care in Ireland: Modernised Care Pathways Implementation Workshop’ on May 23rd, 2023 in the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland.
This in-person event was attended by over 160 colleagues from across the country and provided an opportunity for peer-to-peer engagement and professional development in the implementation of change programmes and integrated care initiatives in particular. Those responsible for the implementation of new Modernised Care Pathways were able to share experiences, knowledge and lessons learned from the front lines.
Attendees heard from their fellow healthcare professionals, senior colleagues in the HSE including Chief Clinical Officer Dr Colm Henry and Chief Operations Officer Damien McCallion, and keynote speaker Dr Ewout van Ginneken, Berlin Hub Coordinator of the European Observatory on Health Systems and Policies.
