Better Together: Health Services Patient Engagement (PE) Roadmap
“Better Together: Health Services Patient Engagement (PE) Roadmap” is a resource for all Healthcare staff (clinical and non-clinical) which provides the essential guidance and tools required to achieve meaningful Patient Engagement.
The Roadmap includes the:
- context, rationale for and definition of Patient Engagement
- essential core components for meaningful Patient Engagement
- explanation of the four degrees of engagement and
- checklists, tools, templates and resources to help achieve meaningful Patient Engagement across all levels of healthcare.
The aim of the Roadmap is to provide a consistent, cohesive and considered approach across Healthcare Services while establishing a shared understanding of what Patient Engagement means.
The Roadmap is designed to build capacity among healthcare staff to create and embed a strong culture of meaningful Patient Engagement, in how we work with our patients and their personal support network.
