E-Learning Programme
The HSE National Office for Human Rights and Equality Policy have two e-learning programmes available on HSeLanD.
The Assisted Decision-Making (Capacity) Act 2015: Guidance for Healthcare Workers was launched on 7th March 2023. This suite of e-learning modules supports staff to understand their new responsibilities under the Assisted Decision-Making (Capacity) Act 2015.
The programme Supporting Decision-Making in Health and Social Care was launched on the 7th April 2022. This suite of e-learning modules focused on the principles of supported decision-making and model key communication skills, strategies, and tools.
Both programmes, designed for all staff in health and social care who work with adults, are part of HSE preparation for commencement of Assisted Decision-Making (Capacity) Act 2015. Modules are available on HSeLanD
