Junior Cycle SPHE Resources

The following resources were developed by a partnership of the Health Service Executive, the Department of Education and the National Council for Curriculum and Assessment to support the 2023 SPHE specification for Junior Cycle. There are currently eight units of learning available to download, with Emotional Wellbeing 3 to follow later in 2025.

How to use this SPHE Resource:

Teachers can choose any of the learning activities in these resources to plan teaching and learning across their Junior Cycle SPHE Programme, taking into account their students' needs, interests and stage of development.
