To ask the Minister for Health if plans can be made to distribute a special type of bread to PKU sufferers ( Minister when a person is suffering from PKU, where their body can not break down protein they are put on a special diet. They have to be very careful with the use of bread, there is a company called Juvela who are based in the UK who make a special bread. It was distributed here by a company called United Drug, this company have now ceased to distribute this bread. It was provided to PKU sufferers through the long term illness scheme. People who relied on this bread are now unable to source it.); and if he will make a statement on the matter.
