To ask the Minister for Health the current position in regard to the long-promised extension of facilities at Naas General Hospital; the extent, if any, to which the originally planned-for facilities have been or are being provided; if particular deficiencies have emerged during the Covid pandemic or thereafter; the extent to which particular shortcomings have been identified, including the adequacy of staffing levels, that are intended to be provided for in the short to medium term; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
