The included files contain PDF versions of the Practice Instruments developed by the National Care Planning Project. They include a range of evidence based assessment and planning tools for use by social workers and other professionals which meet the statutory requirements and national and best practice standards. In addition, the files include other related forms required to meet the legal and administrative arrangements associated with a child or young person's admission to care.

Printing: The materials in this file cover a wide and varied range of practice tools and administrative forms. Care should be taken to select the individual materials to be used. They may be slow to print out and demanding in the amount of ink they use. A master copy of the files may be available in printed form for reference and for photocopying if required. The core instruments can also be made available in word format for report writing purposes.
