To provide clear guidance on the appropriate, safe and legal way in which to use the HSE's electronic communications, email, internet and fax services.

To define acceptable use of HSE’s electronic communications, email, internet, intranet and fax services. Inappropriate use of HSE’ electronic communications, email, internet or fax could expose the organization to risks from virus attacks, theft and disclosure of information, disruption of network systems and services and litigation. Policy is mandatory and by using any of the HSE’s electronic communications, email, internet, intranet and fax, users are agreeing to abide by the terms of this policy.
