SAGE -  Support and Advocacy Service for Older People aims to deliver a representative advocacy service to older people.

Our mission is 'to promote and protect the rights, freedoms and dignity of older people by developing support and advocacy services wherever ageing poses a challenge for individuals'.

Background information on the origins of the National Advocacy Programme

In 2006, the National Advocacy Programme Alliance, alternatively known as NAPA was established by HSE Consumer Affairs to address the needs of older people in residential care. For more information on the work of the Alliance simply click here.
